Knoxville Overground is currently polling members of the Knoxville community, residents of Tennessee, and scholars around the world for its report to be published before February 2009.

Provisionally titled A New Knoxville, the book will be a grassroots treatise exploring the steps Knoxville Overground and other local organizations can take over the next 15 years to promote Knoxville as a top-ranked haven for creators, self-employed professionals, visionaries, and entrepreneurs.

Rather than being prescriptive -- its primary focus will be to shed light on new questions and fresh perspectives in the hope of inspiring more voices from across Knoxville to speak out and dream big.
